Make.com AI Assistant Teaser
I designed and animated a teaser for the soon-to-be-released Make.com AI Assistant, aimed at generating excitement and sign-ups for the product waitlist. This project provided a unique opportunity to blend motion design with user experience in order to create a captivating preview of the new AI capabilities being integrated into Make.com's platform.
Goals
The primary objectives for the teaser were to generate excitement and curiosity around the AI Assistant, encourage user sign-ups for the waitlist to ensure a strong initial adoption, and highlight the assistant’s capabilities and benefits in an engaging visual format.
My Role
My responsibilities spanned from designing the visual elements in alignment with Make.com's brand to animating the elements in a dynamic fashion. I coordinated closely with both the marketing and product teams to ensure that the final product aligned with our strategic goals.
Solution & Approach
The project began with the development of a storyboard to plan the animation sequence, ensuring that each scene effectively communicated the AI Assistant's key features. Using Figma, I designed the UI of the non-existing AI Assistant that matched Make.com's modern aesthetic and brought it to life through animations created in Adobe After Effects. The animation process included several rounds of speedy iterative feedback with key stakeholders, allowing for refinements to ensure clarity and impact of the message.
Results
The release of the teaser was highly successful, eliciting positive reactions from the Make.com team and prospective users alike on social media. The animation led to a significant increase in waitlist sign-ups, indicating strong interest and early adoption potential.
